Certification

CACBT grants certification to clinicians who have demonstrated advanced training and skill in CBT. The purpose of certification is to indicate to other clinicians, consumers, relevant stakeholders, and the Canadian public that a clinician has the expertise to practice as a CBT therapist.

WCCBT Global Ambassador LIVE Webinar 

On behalf of the CACBT-ACTCC, the World Confederation of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (WCCBT) nominated Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos, PhD, Professor of Psychology, University of Regina, as Canada's 2025 WCCBT Global Ambassador.

Dr. Hadjistavropoulos will deliver a LIVE webinar on Wednesday, June 18 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM (ET), titled:"Expanding CBT Horizons: What Therapists Should Know About Internet-Delivered Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)".

Participants will be eligible to receive 1.5 CE credits.
