CACBT-ACTCC hosted the 7th Annual Conference, which took place at Shaw Centre, Ottawa, Ontario on May 18-19, 2017. The title of this conference was "CBT for All: Recognizing and Embracing Diversity".
This conference included exciting workshops spanning on a range of topics, including integrating culture into assessment and treatment co-presented by Andrew Ryder and Jessica Dere, motivational interviewing presented by Henny Westra, and therapist guided Internet delivered CBT presented by Heather Hadjistavropoulos. In the spirit of diversity we also featured a special day of French workshops, including one on PTSD by Stephane Guay. Our keynote address was given by CACBT fellow Trevor Hart on diversity in CBT.
